The Jewish Pedagogies Circle sprung from the quest to gather senior-level educators in a Studio & Lab experience to investigate how Jewish wisdom can inform how we teach, learn, and practice education.

This study attempts to map the personal accounts of 40 educators who have been involved in identity education in Israel for a significant period of time, in effort to paint a current picture of the questions and issues that they face, and draws key findings from the processes that inform them and the educational frameworks they work in.

At the request of UJA Federation of New York, M²: The Institute of Experiential Jewish Education has recently conducted a consultancy project related to the relationship between American and Israeli Jewish communities; to understand and analyze the current relationship; to stimulate new discourse grounded in concepts from the domain of psychology; and to begin identifying possible directions that would bring these two communities closer together.
